The Food and Nutrition Services Department at
Harlingen Medical Center is proud to provide
fine dining for patients, guests, and staff.
Whether preparing healthy dishes for our
patients or a la carte dining for hospital
guests, our team of chefs and food servers are
ready to cater to our patients' and guests'
needs.
Our team in the Food and Nutrition Services
Department understands the importance of
recovery. That is why when your physician has
ordered a diet that compliments your total
program of therapy, our team ensures that you
receive the meals that are designed specifically
to get your health back on track. Your menu may
exclude certain items because of the
restrictions on your diet. Please ask for a
visit from our Registered Dietician if you have
diet questions or nutritional concerns. Family
members and visitors are not allowed to serve
non-hospital prepared food to patients.
Catered meals for guests may be ordered for a
nominal fee. For more information, contact the
Resource Nurse at (956) 365-1850. The Harlingen
Medical Center Café Dining Room is located on
the first floor of the hospital.
